Boston Marathon Bombing Movie Filming in Malden

Patriots Day, a movie about the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing, is filming locally, including near Highland Avenue in Malden. The movie is based on the book Boston Strong by Casey Sherman and Dave Wedge and stars Boston native Mark Wahlberg. Shooting was taking place late into the night.
