More Snow Coming to Medford, Area Monday; Schools Closed Again

Medford and the area could receive five to nine inches of snow on Monday, according to the latest forecast from the National Weather Service.

Medford is under a Winter Storm Watch starting at 7:00 AM Monday for twenty-four hours. A Winter Storm Watch is issued if six or more inches of snow are expected in a twelve hour period or eight or more inches in a twenty-four hour period.

Snow is expected to start falling Monday morning and continue into the evening.

The Medford Public Schools are once again closed. It is the second snow day of the school year. A snow emergency will go into effect in Medford as of 9 AM Monday, which means winter parking restrictions are in place and will be enforced. Parking on side streets is restricted to the odd side only and there is no parking on main roads.
