Five Mustang Track Athletes Named All-Stars

Five members of the Mustang outdoor track team have been named GBL All-Stars.

Patricia Healion, a graduating senior heading to Bridgewater State, was the leading high jumper in the GBL. Her best jump was 4’10” and she was a third place finisher in the 400 intermediate hurdles. She has been a captain the last two seasons and was also a member of the 4 x 100 and 4 x 400 relay teams.

Senior captain Arianna Buelto, Mount Ida College-bound, was the 400 meter champion in the GBL. She was also a member of the 4 x 100 relay team.

Captain Jose Lopes, a senior heading to UMass-Boston in the fall, is the league high jump champion three times over. His personal best is a jump of 6?. Lopes qualified for the state meet in both the high jump and the 4 x 100 relay.

Senior Damien Antoine, a standout football player, placed third in the 100 meter dash in the GBL championship. He also qualified for the state meet.

Junior Corey Moore was sixth in the state last season and is also a GBL All-Star for the 100 meter dash. He was also a member of the relay team that qualified for the state meet.
