Medford Police Patrolmen Endorse Adam Knight

The Medford Police Patrolmen’s Association announced their endorsement of Adam Knight for City Councilor.
The labor organization said they gave its support to Adam Knight because of Knight’s commitment to protecting collective bargaining rights and understanding of the issues that the Officers of the Medford Police Department face.

“Adam has long been a dedicated public servant who has served our community with great commitment. His dedication to helping working families and his record of success in doing such, doesn’t tell me he’s the right person for the job; it shows me he is the right person for the job.”, said Mac Gilvary, President of the 90 member Police Patrolmen’s Association.

Knight said he reacted with pleasure and pride when he heard of the endorsement. “I am very pleased to have the support of the men and women of the Medford Police Patrolmen’s Association. It means a great deal to me. These folks are our front line of defense, the people that keep us safe, the people that put themselves in harms way to protect us. As City Councilor, I will do whatever I can to be sure that the people who keep us safe are provided with state of the art equipment, adequate staffing levels, and the proper training so that they have the tools to do the job and can get home safe to their families.”
