City Council to Begin Reviewing Budget

Starting this week the Medford City Council will begin reviewing the budget for the next fiscal year, which begins July 1.

Three budget meetings have been scheduled, according to the city website.

The first meeting is Wednesday, June 12, at 5:30PM in Room 207 at Medford City Hall. The Council will hold a Committee of the Whole meeting to review proposed budgets for several departments, including Community Development, Treasurer, Auditing, Procurement, and Assessors.

The next budget meeting is Saturday, June 15 at 8:30AM at Medford City Hall to review proposed budgets for police, fire, civil defense, and the Department of Public Works.

The third meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, June 18 at 5:30PM, prior to the Council’s regular 7:00PM meeting. The topic for that budget meeting has yet to be announced.
