Mustang Baseball Team’s State Tournament Run Ends at Home Thursday

After battling a tough Billerica team at Playstead Park on Thursday, the Medford High School boys varsity baseball team endured a close 3-2 loss to end their state tournament run. Mustang pitchers Ryan Covelle and John Lavoie turned in great performances while senior captain Jake Porrazzo continued to show he dangerous both at the plate and on base. Billerica will go on to to play Westford Academy on Saturday.
