‘Mostly Medford’ Art Exhibit Showcases Local Artists

It was a lively evening of gallery hopping and cultural discovery for many Medford-area art-lovers on the First Friday of the month. In addition to events in Medford Square, indefatigable art enthusiasts ventured to Melrose to attend the opening reception for the “Mostly Medford” exhibit at the elegant Beebe Estate in Melrose.

The “Mostly Medford” exhibit showcases six local painters, mostly from Medford: Cambia Davis, Linda Scola, Kathleen Connors, Marilyn Davidson, Francis Viens, and Jennifer Cheng DesAutels. Artists were present to discuss their works, which include vivid still lifes and gem-like scenes from New England and beyond, in watercolor, acrylic and oil.

The exhibit continues Saturdays through the end of May. It is free and open to the public 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. every Saturday or by appointment by contacting Ms. Davis.
