MHS Prom Dress Swap March 6; Donations Needed

The hair, the makeup, the nails, the jewelry…the list of expenses for a high school girl going to the prom is endless and can add up to a small fortune.

The Medford High School PTO is continuing to help girls out by holding the school’s fourth annual prom dress swap. The prom dress shop provides free gowns, both new and gently used, to high school girls. Over the past three years hundred of gowns have been donated and and dozens of girls walked away with their dream dress!

Many people and businesses donated dresses in the past, including The Ultimate Woman’s Apparel in Peabody and Bride and Belle in Medford. Donations of dresses and accessories are still needed. “Fancy dresses,” both long and short, are being collected and can either be dropped off at Medford High school during school hours or call Erin DiBenedetto at 781-254-0095 to arrange a pick up or drop off.
