The Medford Mustang Cheerleaders placed second in Medway High’s Cheer Invitational on Sunday, October 14. Medford scored a 78.25, placing a close second to Marshfield High School, who won Division One with a 78.50.

“We brought the Mustangs to Medway to get the kinks out before our league tournament, which we are hosting this Sunday. We have a number of new girls and wanted them to feel what high school competition is like. In addition, the state instituted a new scoresheet, so we have certain difficulty elements we now have to complete in order to attain higher scores. It was a good first performance with a few small breaks in the routine… great for their first time out!” Said Head Coach Michelle Kimball.

Medford hits the mat again Sunday, October 21 at the GBL competition, which will be hosted at Medford High School. The competition starts at 12PM doors open at 11AM. All are welcome.
