Babe Ruth Fall Baseball Begins September 8

Medford Babe Ruth Fall Baseball for 12/13/14-year-olds

Fall Baseball geared for players making the move from the small little league diamond to the 90’ (big) diamond and those looking to improve their game. The program includes pre-season clinic sessions on the full size diamond where players will learn the skills that are not normally taught on little league fields (e.g. leading, pitching from the stretch, etc.). In-house games between other Medford teams with instructional umpiring, as well as inter-city games between Arlington, Somerville and Melrose teams will be played on the weekends from September 8th to about October 14th (1 game each on Saturdays & Sundays). The $60 ($75 late and non-Medford/Somerville players) registration fee includes the clinic sessions, 10 or more games, uniform shirt, hat and socks.

Eligibility: Players must be at least 12 or 13-years-old as of April 30, 2012. 14-year-olds are eligible on a space available basis.

To register: mail or drop off a completed registration form, $60 (or $75 late or non Medford/Somerville) check payable to Medford Babe Ruth and copy of the players birth certificate to: Medford Babe Ruth, c/o Pompeo & Sons Insurance Agency, 464 High St., Medford MA 02155
