City Releases Summer Recreation Program Update

Medford’s Summer Recreation program directors Julia Damon and Ann Amirault have updated the ongoing summer recreation schedule with additional sports and art camps being made available within the next few weeks.

Football camp (grades 4-11) will be held August 13th – 17th at Medford High School at a cost of $55 per student.

An Adult Beginners Class in Rowing will be held August 6th – 31st, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 5:30 AM – 7:30 AM or from 6 PM – 8 PM at a cost of $105 for Medford residents and $155 for non-residents.

For students interested in arts and crafts (ages 5-13), two different classes are being offered the week of August 13th – 17th,, “Mix It Up” and “Puppet Theatre.” Cost for each class is $105 and they are being held at the McGlynn School from 9 AM – 1 PM. Medford’s first Teen Jobs Academy, which will discuss various topics such as team building, dollars & cents, healthy me and work wise issues, will be held at Medford High School August 6-10th from 9 AM – 1 PM at a cost of $25 per student.
