Severe Weather Hammers Medford, Area

Severe thunderstorms rolled through Medford and the area on Wednesday afternoon. The storms lasted for a few hours and brought torrential downpours that flooded some city streets. The Medford School Committee meeting scheduled for Wednesday night was postponed due to the severe weather. The storms are expected to bring some relief to the area after several days of oppressive heat and humidity.
