City Releases Summer Recreation Program Update

Medford’s Summer Recreation program directors Julia Damon and Ann Amirault have updated the ongoing summer recreation schedule with additional sports and art camps being made available within the next few weeks.

Please be advised that as of July 17th, the park instructors that were located at Victory Park have been moved to Harris Park. The park instructors are available Monday thru Friday from 9 AM – 1 PM.

For boys interested in soccer (grades 4-11), a summer camp is being held at Medford High School from Monday-Friday, August 6-10th, from 9 AM – 12 noon at a cost of $55 per student.

An Adult Beginners Class in Rowing will be held August 6th – 31st, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 5:30 AM – 7:30 AM OR from 6 PM – 8 PM at a cost of $105 for Medford residents and $155 for non-Medford residents.

For students interested in arts and crafts (ages 5-13), two different classes are being offered the week of August 6th – 10th, Sculpting and Piccolo Picasso. Cost for each class is $105 and they are being held at the McGlynn School from 9 AM – 1 PM. For additional information, please contact Ms Teresa Riffe at (508) 320-0895.
