Democratic State Representative Carl Sciortino (Medford, Somerville) recently had a chance to meet with President Barack Obama. Rep. Sciortino met Pres. Obama when he was in Boston for a fundraising event on June 25. Sciortino is among a group of representatives who have been active on Obama’s re-election campaign, and he has participated in two online commercials (available here and here) talking about the tenure of former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney, the presumptive Republican presidential nominee.
