Saint Clement School held its 84th commencement exercise on Friday, May 24, graduating the class of 2012 at Saint Clement Parish.

Faculty, staff, family and friends shared in the excitement of all the as the students received their high school diplomas, scholarships and other class awards. Over 98% of the senior class will be attending a four year college or university.

The senior class received more than $400,000 in academic scholarships and grants from prestigious colleges and universities such as Suffolk University, Merrimack College, Regis College, Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Lasell College, Clark University, Johnson and Wales College, Anna Maria College, Franklin Pierce University, UMass Lowell, Curry College, and Wentworth Institute of Technology.

Ceddia Named Guidance Counselor of the Year

Maria Ceddia receives Guidance Counselor of the Year AwardMaria Ceddia, Director of Guidance at St. Clement Junior/Senior High School, has been awarded the Greater Boston School Counselors Association (GBSCA) Counselor of the Year.

Ms. Ceddia was honored based on her commitment to her profession and on her ability to help students become successful citizens and long-time learners.

Ms. Ceddia recently served as a guidance counselor for the Medford Public Schools.

“St. Clement Junior/Senior High School is honored to have her as part of the Saint Clement Community and has greatly benefited from her recent tenure,” said a statement from the school.

Ninety-eight percent of the senior class will be attending a four year college or university. The senior class received more than $400,000 in academic scholarships and grants.
