Medford Police Community Meeting June 6

Charles McDonald, Director of Communications and Legislation for the Massachusetts Sex Offender Registry, will be speaking at the next Medford Police Community Meeting on Wednesday June 6, 2012 at 7:00pm at the Medford Police Academy (100 Main Street).

According to information released by Medford Police, McDonald will be available to answer questions regarding the Sex Offender Registry. He is prohibited by law to speak publicly about specific cases. The Sex Offender Registry Board (SORB) must adhere to state law in conducting its duties to register, classify and disseminate information on qualifying sex offenders.

This meeting will be the last pre-scheduled community meeting until Wednesday September 5, 2012.
