MHS Prom Dress Shop March 13

Donations Needed for Annual Event

The hair, the makeup, the nails, the jewelry…the list of expenses for a high school girl going to the prom is endless and can add up to a small fortune.

The Medford High School PTO is continuing to help girls out by holding the school’s third annual prom dress shop. The prom dress shop provides free gowns, both new and gently used, to high school girls. Over the past two years about two hundred gowns have been donated and and dozens of girls walked away with their dream dress!

Many people and businesses donated dresses in the past, including The Ultimate Woman’s Apparel in Peabody and Bride and Belle in Medford. Donations of dresses and accessories are still needed. “Fancy dresses,” both long and short, are being collected and can either be dropped off at Medford High or call Erin DiBenedetto at 781-254-0095 to arrange a pick up or drop off.
