Meanwhile, Chelmsford knocked off Arlington Catholic, 5-0, before meeting the Mustangs. Chelmsford now faces Wakefield, 9-5-6, seeded seventh, in the semi-finals.

In other hockey news, Malden Catholic, 15-1-4, the top seed in Division 1A, opens up the Super Eight tournament today against St. John’s of Shrewsbury (#8, 15-4-3) at 7PM at Merrimack College. The Lancers will also play BC High #5, (10-5-6) and Hingham (#4, 16-4-2) on March 6 and March 11, respectively. Hingham is the only public high school participating in the tournament.
