‘Pink Out’ Basketball Games for Cancer Awareness

Help the boys and girls basketball teams raise money for breast cancer research while cheering them on against GBL arch rival Malden!

On Tuesday, January 24 both the boys and girls teams will be holding “Pink Out” games against Malden. The boys are at home and the girls are away against the Golden Tornadoes. Both games start at 7:00pm. All players will be wearing pink and proceeds from the game will be donated to support breast cancer research.

John Brewer’s Tavern, located in Malden and owned by former Mustang Bill Honeycutt, is sponsoring the effort and will be holding a “Pink Out Night” on Monday, January 23 at 7pm. Both the Medford and Malden teams will have dinner together before taking the court the following night. In addition, 20% of restaurant proceeds from that night will go toward the cause. John Brewer’s is located at 7 Highland Avenue on the Medford/Malden line.
