History Comes Alive in Medford

For the second year local history buffs brought history to life this weekend by transforming Mystic Riverbend Park into a Revolutionary War encampment. The Stow Minuteman Company, together with Charlestown, Woburn, and Menotomy, demonstrated period crafts and music, performed military drills and camped out in the park while providing visitors and curious onlookers a unique glimpse into colonial life in America.

According to event organizer Ryan Hayward over 600 people came through the event last year and at least that many people were expected to participate this year.
