Enjoy Pizza and Support the Medford Arts Council

Fundraiser on September 27

Dine in or take out; restaurant will donate funds for Medford-wide arts and culture projects in 2012

The Medford Arts Council is taking over the Flatbread Pizza Company/Sacco’s Bowl Haven for a one-night fundraiser. Donate to the arts just by eating dinner!

The event is taking place on Tuesday, September 27 from 5-10PM. Eat in or order take out. Everyone’s invited and feel free to bring the kids!

Enjoy great food and support Medford arts. Flatbread Pizza will donate a portion of all pizza sales to the Medford Arts Council. These funds will be added to an annual grants fund to support artists, organizations, and projects that enrich the Medford community.

Arts Council grants have supported projects of the Medford Public Library, Medford Public Schools and the afterschool program, summer concerts at Wright’s Pond and vacation/summer kids’ events at the library, the Medford Historical Society, Springstep, West Medford Open Studios, the Royall House, the Medford Council on Aging, and more. The Medford Arts Council also catalyzed the upcoming Medford on the Mystic festival with a kickoff grant to CACHE, the Coalition for Arts, Culture and a Healthy Economy.

A silent auction and bake sale will take place at the event until 8:30 pm. Donations to the silent auction include tickets to the ICA and to Bentley University’s Bowles Performance series, and original artworks by Medford artists. Funds raised from the auction and bake sale will also be added to the Medford Arts Council’s annual grant fund.
