St. Joseph’s Music Ministry Looking for Members

If you love to sing, or play an instrument, and you’d like to meet others who do then you should consider joining ythe St. Joseph Parish Music Ministry.

Both our Adult and Youth Choirs and Young Adult Music Group offer a wide range of liturgical music experience for all, and welcome new members. The weekly re-“choir”-ments of each group are as follows:

Youth Choir:
Weekly Rehearsals: Monday Afternoons from 2:30 to 4:00 P.M. (Lower Church)
Sunday Breakfast: 9:00 A.M. to 9:30 A.M. (Outer Room, Choir Loft)
Sunday Warm-up: 9:30 A.M. (Side Altar)
Sunday Mass: 10:00 A.M. Family Mass (Upper Church)

Adult Choir:
Weekly Rehearsals: Thursday Evenings from 7:00 to 8:30 P.M. (Choir Loft)
Sunday Coffee: 11:00 A.M. (Outer Room, Choir Loft)
Sunday Warm-up: 11:30 A.M. (Choir Loft)
Sunday Mass: Noon (Choir Loft)

Young Adult Music Group:
Weekly Rehearsals: Thursday Afternoons from 5:00 to 6:00 P.M. (Side Altar)
Sunday Warm-up: 4:15 P.M. (Side Altar)
Sunday Mass: 5:00 P.M. (Upper Church)

Calling All High School Students!

Begin Earning Your Community Service/Confirmation Service Hours Early

The St. Joseph Parish, Medford Music Ministry would like to extend an invitation to high school students who like to sing or play an instrument, to consider participating in our Young Adult Music Group at the 5PM Mass on Sunday afternoons.

Rehearsals are on Thursday afternoons from 5:00 to 6:00 P.M. in the upper church. The group also meets for a warm-up/rehearsal at 4:15PM on Sunday afternoons, prior to Mass.

Students receive Community Service and/or Confirmation Service hours in consideration of their participation in the music ministry.

A number of students who joined us in previous years enjoyed their experience so much that they decided to become regular members of the group!
