Prep Work Continues This Week

The following additional work activities and lane restrictions are scheduled for the week of May 22, 2011:

Route I-93 Southbound

– Left lane closure between Exit 32 (Route 60) and Exit 31 (Route 16) on Thursday, May 26 from 8 PM to 5 AM.

Route I-93 Northbound

– Right lane closure between Exit 31 (Route 16) and Exit 32 (Route 60) from 9 AM to 2 PM on Monday, May 23 through Thursday, May 26 and from 9 AM to 12:00 noon on Friday, May 27.

Local Roadways

– Intermittent single lane and shoulder closures with the potential for full roadway closures on Route 16 and on Valley Street on Monday, May 23 through Sunday, May 29 from 9 PM to 5 AM. The section of Valley Street, east of Brookside Parkway will be closed on Monday, May 23 through Tuesday, May 24 from 9 PM to 5 AM.

MassDOT encourages drivers to allow extra time for their trips and to reduce speed and use caution when traveling through all work zones.
