Pinky’s Famous Pizza, located on Main Street in Medford, closed without notice earlier this week. A sign posted on the door read “Warning: this business has been ordered closed for non-compliance with MGL Chapter 152 Sec. 25C of the Mass. Worker’s Compensation Law…Any person who attempts to tamper with this order will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Massachusetts Department of Industrial Accidents.”

Requests for comment to the Massachusetts Department of Industrial Accidents and Pinky’s were not immediately returned.

According to Medford resident Jim Morse, Pinky’s re-opened on Saturday.

Pinky’s was a popular pizza place that prided itself on its gourmet ingredients.

“Pinky’s Famous Pizza gives you gourmet taste delivered. I want you to be the judge. If this isn’t great pizza, I’ll give you your money back… Every Penny!” Boasts a statement on Pinky’s website.
