Medford Farmers Market Looking for Vendors

The Medford Farmers Market will begin its fifth season on Thursday, June 16, 2011. Please join us between 3pm-7pm every Thursday afternoon through October 13, 2011. Whole Foods Market will again be our gracious hosts!

As you know, the ultimate success of a farmers market depends on the quality and diversity of vendors, meaning a good selection of vegetables and fruits, and this year we are seeking to add to our variety with such locally produced fare as organic free-range eggs, cheese and even wine!

So we are asking for your help. Please connect us with people you know who might be interested in joining the Medford Farmers Market this year.

    Is there any particular reason why the Farmers Market isn’t in Medford Square anymore?

    Dear “Fells”,
    Yes, there was a confluence of a variety of reasons why the farmers market was relocated to the Whole Foods Market parking lot. The Clippership Drive construction project being the most influential. The 2011 market will be hosted in the Whole Foods Market parking lot again since the feedback was positive about that location. The Medford Farmers Market is exploring more permanent locations for the 2012 season. We plan to ask the community for input into that decision via a survey a little later this year. We hope that you will provide your input!
