1st Time Homebuyers Workshop Starts January 19

Medford’s first time homebuyer program includes a workshop that helps “demystify” the home-buying process. Participants will learn about mortgages, realtor and home inspections, legal issues and property management, the soft second mortgage program, and down payment and closing cost assistance, among other things.

A $60 registration fee covers two adults for the three sessions, which are taking place on Wednesday, January 19, 5:30-8:30PM, Wednesday, January 26, 6-8:30PM, and Wednesday, February 2, 6-8:30PM. The workshop is taking place at Medford City Hall.

Participants who attend all three sessions will receive a certificate that could potentially qualify for mortgage, closing cost, and down payment assistance, good for two years.
