Springstep’s Happy and Healthy New Year

Winter Session classes start on January 10, 2011 at Springstep, a nonprofit arts organization that fosters active community participation in dance, movement, and music. This session’s programming features a wide range of classes designed to get adults and children on their feet and moving to the music.

The holidays are just around the corner, and so are the increased waistlines that come with them! Springstep makes it both easy and fun to stick to your New Year’s resolution of staying healthy and active by offering a wide variety of fitness and movement classes. In addition to the many traditional dance classes at Springstep, such as Flamenco, Tap and Salsa, students can spice up their fitness routines to the wildly popular Latin beat of Zumba, or test their strength, balance and flexibility in the calming atmosphere of Hatha Yoga. Anyone who thinks exercise is a drag never attended Bollywood Fitness, a lively introduction to the high-energy dance forms of India and Indian cinema! Springstep also offers a number of classes designed to get kids moving and having fun, such as Creative Dance, Ballet and Hip Hop.
