City to Review Condition of Fire Stations

Mayor Asks City Council to Approve Funding for Review

Medford Mayor Michael McGlynn is asking the City Council for funding to review the condition of the city’s six fire stations.

The Council will discuss the proposal during their regular meeting on Tuesday night.

Mayor McGlynn has asked for $53,000 to review the condition of each station, to put together recommendations for renovations, to conduct hazardous materials evaluations, and to meet with city and fire officials.

The Council will meet at 7:00PM on Tuesday, November 16 at City Hall. The meeting will be broadcast live on Channel 16.
