Intercity League Hall of Fame Dinner November 12

After sixty years of continuous operation, the Intercity League has announced its inaugural class of Hall of Fame inductees. The Intercity League has provided the Greater Boston area with some of the finest amateur baseball talent since 1950.

The first class of Hall of Famers was selected from the estimated 5,000 players, managers, officials, umpires and others that have participated in the league since its inception. In addition, an ICL “Franchise of the Decade” for each the six decades the league has been in existence will also be honored.

The league will also recognize its 2010 award winners at the event including the champion Lexington Blue Sox.

The induction ceremony will be the focus of the ICL’s “Hall of Fame, Awards & Reunion Dinner” that will take place on Friday evening, November 12, 2010, at the Montvale Plaza in Stoneham, MA.
