Boys Soccer Team Closes Season with Victory

Head Coach Mike Petrides and the boys varsity soccer team finished up the season with a 1-0 victory over Marblehead on Monday.

The game was the last of the regular season for the Mustangs, who finished 11-2-5 overall and 6-0-2 in the Greater Boston League.

Medford’s lone goal was scored by senior captain Cesar Silva within the first ten minutes of the second half.

The win was the Mustangs’ eleventh shut out of the season.

Medford is awaiting its post season tournament seeding and schedule, which should be announced on Thursday afternoon.
