‘Harvest Your Energy’ Festival October 23

Medford’s wind turbine, located at the McGlynn School, powers 10% of the school’s electricity.

The Harvest Your Energy Festival will take place on Saturday, October 23, 2010 from 1-4PM.

The event is taking place at the base of the wind turbine at the McGlynn Elementary and Middle Schools (3002 Mystic Valley Parkway, Riverbend Park, Medford).

The event will take place in the McGlynn School cafeteria if it is raining.

Free fun for all ages – music, food, education, face painting, and more!

– Connect with free home energy assessments and energy efficiency rebates through MassEnergy

– Support local organizations; buy their food and energy/environment-related products

– Enjoy a beautiful fall day along the Mystic River and see the wind turbine up close
