CFL bulbLocal Environmental Education Group to Distribute Energy Efficient Light Bulbs on Halloween

On Halloween young trick-or-treaters and their parents will hit the streets of Medford armed with energy efficient light bulbs.

The “reverse” trick-or-treat organized by Green Medford is an attempt to educate people about saving money and electricity by switching to energy efficient compact fluorescent light (CFL) bulbs.

National Grid and Tufts University have donated several hundred CFL’s for the event.
