Century Bank Presents Free Alzheimer’s Seminar

Caring for a Loved One with Alzheimer’s: Accessing Community Services and Preserving Your Family’s Assets

As the number of families with a loved one suffering from Alzheimer’s continues to grow, Century Bank and Moschella & Winston, LLP will host a free educational seminar in Medford that is designed to give caregivers valuable tools to handle the unique and complicated legal and financial challenges associated with caring for a loved one with Alzheimer’s.

This special event, “Caring for a Loved One with Alzheimer’s: Accessing Community Services and Preserving Your Family’s Assets,” will be held on Tuesday, October 5, 2010 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Century Bank headquarters, 400 Mystic Avenue in Medford. It will include refreshments and hors d’oeuvres.

According to the World Alzheimer’s Report 2010: The Global Economic Impact of Dementia: If dementia care were a country, it would be the world’s 18th largest economy, ranking between Turkey and Indonesia. If it were a company, it would be the world’s largest by annual revenue exceeding Wal-Mart (US $414 billion) and Exxon Mobil (US $311 billion).

Century Bank’s free seminar for Alzheimer’s caregivers will address a variety of concerns, options and planning issues that typically come up as the disease progresses.
