Condon Shell Parking Lot, Bow Street Repaved

Condon Shell parking lot

The newly configured 86-space parking lot at Condon Shell is now open for public use. Reconstruction of the parking lot, a new pathway, landscaping, benches, interpretive signage and a canoe launch are the first part of a two part project that also includes building a new band shell that is two and one half times the size of the existing one. According to Community Development Director Lauren DiLorenzo, final construction of the park project will be completed shortly. The project is being funded by a federal grant of $550,000 and a signage grant of $40,000 from the Mass Environmental Trust.
