Fire Destroys Medford Home Wednesday

A 4-alarm blaze ripped through a Medford apartment building on Wednesday night, displacing thirteen people and destroying 112-114 Washington Street.

Firefighters from eight different communities were called upon to help fight the flames and were battling the fire into the early morning hours, according to a witness.

Fortunately no one was injured in the fire, which broke out about 7:30pm Wednesday. The apartment building was torn down on Thursday.
