Big Brother Big Sister Clothing Bin at City Hall

Big Brother Big SisterBig Brother Big Sister Foundation is pleased to announce the placement of their new clothing donation drop off box in Medford.

Thanks to the help of the Mayor’s office, the Foundation has found a new home for their bin at 85 George P. Hassett Drive at the rear entrance of Medford City Hall.

“The newly refurbished bin was a ‘Big’ project! It has actually photos of Big and Little Sisters from the Boston area on each side, plus the photography was done by former little sister Amy Garwood, who attended the New England School of Photography,” said Maria Sullivan, Marketing Coordinator for the Foundation.

The Big Brother Big Sister Foundation collects donations of lightly used clothing of all types, including men’s, women’s, and children’s shoes, sneakers, accessories, handbags, and jeans. They turn your donations into much needed funds, for the mentoring programs by selling them in bulk to local thrift stores. Fundraising projects like the clothing collection program are crucial in helping Big Brothers Big Sisters agencies match more children with adult mentors.
