Deaf, Elderly, Black Cocker Spaniel Missing in Tufts/Hillside Area

A 12-year-old black cocker spaniel in need of medical attention has been missing in the Tufts/Hillside area of Medford since Thursday, May 6.

Owner Jeffrey Manzelli is asking for help in locating his beloved pet and is offering a $200 reward.

Pepe is black with a white nose and chest and weighs forty pounds. He was wearing a black collar with tags and was Llast seen at his Medford home at 10:00PM last Thursday. He is also is deaf and hypothyroidal and in need of special food and medication.

According to information posted online by Manzelli, Pepe is docile and affectionate, but without medicine he could become disoriented and frightened for no apparent reason. He may bark constantly or have epilepsy-like seizures with biting or clenching, wrote Manzelli.
