Cyberbullying Forum Wednesday, April 7

Event to Address Timely Topic

School Committee member Ann Marie Cugno and State Representative Paul Donate have organized a Cyberbullying Forum, which will take place on Wednesday, April 7 from 7:00PM-9:00PM at the McGlynn School.

The event is intended to educate parents about cyberbullying; what it is, how to respond to it, and how to prevent it.

Several experts will address the topic, including Dr. Elizabeth K. Englander, Ph.D., Director of Massachusetts Aggression Reduction Center, Bridgewater State College, and Margie Daniels, M.Ed., L.I.C.S.W., Executive Director, Middlesex Partnerships for Youth, Inc.

Members of the Medford Police Department, including Chief of Police Leo Sacco and Lt. Paul Covino of the Community Services Unit will also address the issue.

The Cyberbullying Forum is free and open to the public. All parents and students are welcome to attend.
