Restaurant industry veteran Eddy Balla has opened a new restaurant in Medford, Eddy’s Place, at the intersection of Salem and Park Streets.

Moving to the United States from Albania, Balla began his restaurant career working at Nick’s Place in Winthrop. Balla purchased the Nick’s Place, one of the great food stops for those enjoying nightlife at the clubs in that area or stopping for a bite and refreshments while at the beach in the summer.

Eddy’s Place’s 301 Salem Street location was the original site of Ronny’s Place and later Joe Pizza. Balla has renovated the location again with a large-screen television, comfortable tables and chairs, and on-street parking.

However it is the menu that is amazing for a place that specializes in roast beef, subs, pizza and more. Other tempting selections include Eddy’s Special Gourmet Pizza, Veggie Pizza, Hawaiian Pizza, Chicken Broccoli Alfredo, and dozens of calzones, such as Steak Bomb, Chicken Bomb, Kabob, Spinach and more.

Every Monday is the “Beat The Clock” special between 4PM and 8PM. Order a large pizza at the price you call in! If you call at 4 PM, it’s a $4.00 large pizza (with $1.00 for each additional topping). 4:10PM is $4.10, 5:15PM is $5.15, etc. It’s one of many great bargains at Eddy’s Place.

On Wednesdays, enjoy half off on any pasta dinner, including spaghetti, ziti, ravioli, or stuffed shells.

For more information call Eddy at 781-393-9955 or 781-393-9957.

Orders can be faxed to 781-393-9958.

Eddy’s Place is open daily Monday-Saturday 10AM – 10PM and Sundays 11AM – 10PM.
