Siobhan Turner scored all seven of her points in the second half, none bigger than a pair of free throws in the final minute to give the Tar Heels a 26-24 advantage. Deanna Hardy helped the Heels stay within reach of the Nets by scoring six of her team-high eight points in the first half and Raniece Turner netted five points for the 2-0 Tar Heels.
