InsideMedford.com Publishes Candidate Statements

InsideMedford.com is publishing un-edited statements from candidates running for School Committee, City Council, and Mayor.

The statements appear below and are from the School Committee incumbents, City Council incumbents, and City Council challengers. The School Committee challengers- Sharon Guzik, Bill O’Keefe, Larry Brown, George Scarpelli, Chris Murphy, and John Falco– already had their statements published a few weeks ago. They can be found on InsideMedford.com’s Election 2009 page.

Mayor Michael McGlynn will also have an opportunity to provide a statement. He is running unopposed for re-election.

Special Election 2009 Page

All of the candidate statements will be posted on a new page of the website, Election 2009. The page will remain up through Election Day on Tuesday, November 3, 2009. The page also has information about where to vote and other voting information.

Candidate Forums

The City Council candidates will answer questions during a candidate forum sponsored by the Medford Democratic Ward and City Committee on Wednesday, October 21 at 7PM at Medford City Hall.

The School Committee candidate forum was October 7. It can be viewed on Channel 15 at 8AM, 2PM, and 8PM.
