Head Coach Jack Dempsey was very pleased with his team’s performance.

“They came to run. They know what’s at stake. They had to be in top form and they were,” said Coach Dempsey.

Although the team is undefeated at 3-0 right now, Coach Dempsey said the last three meets of the season are against the toughest teams in the league- Austin Prep and Marion for the girls, Austin Prep and Bishop Fenwick for the boys.

“We’re right in the mix. Anything could happen,” said Dempsey.

The AC teams run at home at Menotomy Park next Tuesday against Lowell Catholic and will participate in the Arlington/Arlington Catholic Game Day on Saturday, October 3. Coach Dempsey said the team is focusing on making a strong showing against Arlington on Game Day.
