Medford resident Larry Cultrera has spent thirty years photographing diners, drive-in’s, amusement parks, and other unique architecture throughout the Northeast, which he will share in a special presentation for the Medford Historical Society on Wednesday, March 18.

“Local Roadside Memories,” premiering at 7PM on March 18 at the Medford Public Library, will feature slides of various objects from Cultrera’s collection of memorabilia, vintage postcards and photos as well as his own photographs taken over the last 29 years.

“It could almost be called a travelogue of my adventures (or misadventures),” writes Cultrera on his blog.

Cultrera says his blog has been enjoying plenty of traffic. The blog is a continuation of a column Cultrera wrote for 19 years for the Society for Commercial Archeology’s Journal Magazine.
