Popular High School Program Shows Students History Behind Holiday

Nearly thirty Medford veterans visited Medford High School recently as part of a special program organized by the Medford Office of Veterans’ Services and the Social Studies Department. Veterans from several wars, from World War II to Operation Iraqi Freedom, visited classrooms to share their stories with students. The following veterans participated: Rubin Addorando, William Brady, John Connell, Tom Convery, Edward Cruz, Robert Daly, Joseph DiNunzio, Richard Dorrance, Leo Doyle, Lee Enos, Dennis Figelski, Roy Finn, Robert Furey, John Ghilain, Robert Green, Charles Hartnett, Joseph Hickey, Mike Lynch, Tim McCarthy, Charles Moore, Ed Nolan, Deputy Chief Ed O’Brien, Pat Percefull, Frank Perry, Fred Pompeo, Frank Reynolds, Esq., Mark Shea, and Richard Watson.
