Voke Students Spruce up State Zamboni

Medford Vocational student Dan Grogan stands by a Zamboni he helped work on for the state.

Medford Vocational Technical High School students again saved the state some cash by working on another Zamboni for the Department of Conservation and Recreation. Students in the Automotive Collision Repair and Automotive Technology departments repaired the vehicle, inside and out, which Collision Tech Instructor Joe Kinch said was in worse shape than the first one students fixed last December. In addition, Kinch said work is coming along on the Medford Police D.A.R.E. corvette.  Automotive Tech students got the car “drivable” and now Collision students are turning it into a black and white cruiser for the police department. Above, Dan Grogan is pictured outside of the voke with the finished Zamboni. Manny Reisopoulos, Sossio DelPrete, Mike LeBlanc, Henry Martinez, and David Gallagher also helped with the project.  Photo courtesy Joe Kinch.
