Special State Rep Election Tuesday

VoteOn Tuesday, March 4, voters in Arlington and West Medford will cast ballots for a new state representative. Only voters who vote at Temple Shalom (3-2), the Brooks Elementary School (6-1), and Walking Court (6-2) can vote in this special election.

Former Arlingon Town Moderator John Worden is the Republican candidate, Arlington School Committee member Sean Garballey is running as a Democrat, and Arlington business owner Robert Valeri is running independently. See below for more information on each of these candidates.

Polls are open from 7AM to 8PM. Special Notice to Brooks Elementary School Voters: School Superintendent Belson said Room 114, an empty Kindergarten classroom with direct access to the street, will be set up as a polling location. The city is setting aside some parking on Allston Street to accommodate voters. Voters are asked to not park in the school parking lot or drive through the lot or driveway.
