Cheer on the Mustang Football team as they face Newton South High School at 11AM in Newton. The Mustangs have a 1-6 record heading into tomorrow’s game.

The Boys’ and Girls’ Cross-country teams will compete in the Greater Boston League meet at Fresh Pond.

Grapevine Travelers hosts a Cabernet wine-tasting at its High Street shop from 3PM-7PM. Join them as they sip on three different affordable and delicious California Cabernets.

The Springstep Performance Series presents a Folk Americana show featuring modern American stringband Joy Kills Sorrow at 8PM. Tickets can be purchased at the door or in advance- $19 general and $16 students and seniors.

The Medford Arts Center, Inc. (MACI) is sponsoring the 4th Annual Poetry Howl from 4PM-6PM in Medford Square next to the Salem Street burial ground. Read a poem and you’ll get a home-baked cupcake. Or just sit back, listen to poetry, and enjoy some cider and cookies, but don’t forget your costume!  Rain location- TV3, 5 High Street, Medford Square.
