Medford Women Finish Strong in Tufts 10K

Many Medford women spent their Columbus Day holiday running in the 31st annual Tufts Health Plan 10K for Women.

Mariko Holbrook, 26, running with the Boston Athletic Association team, finished 27th overall with a time of 34:57 for the 6.2 mile course.

Medford Volleyball Coach and Somerville resident Jen Wilson, also 26, part of the Somerville Road Runners Club, covered the course in 42:56; good enough for 122th overall and 69th in her age group.

Linda B. Foote, 66, placed 1587th overall and 9th in her age group with her time of 57:06.

Nearly 7,000 women of all ages competed in yesterday’s race.  The following Medford women completed the race, in order of finishing:
