Medford Invitational Tourney Baseball Action

Medford All-Star John LeBlanc ready to hit Monday night against Everett.

The Medford All-Star team is in the American League’s top spot after a key 1-0 victory over Newton Wednesday night.  Four American League teams are vying for this weekend’s playoffs- Medford, Newton, Billerica, and North Cambridge. 

The Wakefield All-Star team is at the top of the National League and will take part in Sunday’s playoff games.  Malden, Melrose, and Charlestown still have a shot at the playoffs.
