Medford Invitational Tournament

The Medford All-Stars crushed the Somerville All-Stars, 23-1 last night to improve their record 2-0.  They take on the Everett All-Stars on Monday at 6PM at Columbus Park.

Bay State Baseball Tournament of Champions

Fresh off a 12-1 whomping of Brookline, the South Medford A Team earns a perfect 6-0 record in Round 3 of the tournament to advance to the Trophy Weekend games.  They take on Waltham today at 2PM at Westside Field in Winchester. 

Intercity League Baseball

Despite out-hitting the Watertown Reds and a last-minute rally in the 7th, the Andre Chiefs were unable to come out from under a 3-0 lead and narrowly lost last night’s game 3-1.

The Medford Americans were shut-out 4-0 by Gately Athletics last night at Monbouquette Field at Playstead Park.

This weekend’s games will be the last for both teams as they face each other at Playstead Park’s Monbouquette Field today at 5PM and Sunday at 4:30PM.  Heading into this weekend the Americans are 12-17 and the Chiefs 9-16.

In other baseball news…
